CommentaireCommon name: Eastern Tropical Pacific bottlenose dolphin
Localité eastern tropical Pacific, approximately 12° N, 120° W, AMNH 35045.

QuoteHershkovitz (1963) was the first to treat Tursiops nuuanu as a synonym of T. truncatus, but the confusion of species recognition within Tursiops can be seen when Hershkovitz (1966) reversed himself and made T. nuuanu a synonym of Tursiops truncatus aduncus.
