Remarks Data from reference was extracted using WebPlotDigitizer. The quantitative value is the average of reported density values of Aethia cristatella during the research cruises throughout the study period, from July 23 to October 12, during open water season. The seabird survey was conducted following survey lines aligned from north to south spaced 2 NM apart. During this year, Bering Sea Water, which contained larger oceanic zooplankton, extended over the Klondike study area only, and not the other study areas. Zooplankton feeding seabirds, including Aethia cristatella, were observed to be more common in said study area than others (Ref 118567).
