Remarks | Aerial survey was conducted in the northwest coast of Alaska, covering the eastern Chukchi Sea coast from just north of Bering strait to Pt. Barrow, utilizing line transect survey methods. Erignathus barbatus were described as less frequently observed than Pusa hispida, which were also being observed in the same study (Ref. 118566). |
