Remarks After peak abundances in March, numbers decreases sharply to less than 1 individual/m^3 during April, and less than 0.5 individuals/m^3 during May and June after which they were completely absent (dates assumed). Residence time of Aurelia aurita at the Cracknore site is about 3 to 4 months. Hauls were made at a depth of 5 meters.
