Remarks Samples were collected using a 1 m^2 MOCNESS sampler equipped with 9 nets of 333 pm nylon mesh netting, towed at speeds of about 1.5 knots. In the areas investigated around the Barents Sea, Thysanoessa inermis was described as the dominant species, though it's abundance is not closely connected to the salinity and temperature of the deeper water.
