Shell round, apex flat, body whorls strongly keeled with angular and finger-like projections. Aperture round, with glossy internal. Colouration: Shell base cream to pinkish-brown, spines and ribs purplish-black (Ref. 128042).
Found from low tide to 45 m, on algal-covered rock (Ref. 337). Subtidal near reefs (Ref. 799) and sandy shores (Ref. 128042).
